COLLECTION GUIDE
Quality is very important to us!
We are constantly testing new cardstocks, inks, and embellishments and select only the materials
that stand up to our expectations. We also aim to offer a great solution whatever your budget is.
Here are our choices.
OUR PRINTING TECHNIQUES
DIGITAL
Digital printing (or flat printing) is the most common and economical type of print. The ink is placed on the surface of the paper and then dried. You cannot print metallic inks or on dark cardstock via digital printing.
LETTERPRESS
Letterpress printing consists of pressing a plate that contains the design into the paper surface with a press. It creates an outstanding tactile and visual feel. We use soft textured cardstock (cotton or bamboo) or the amazing hand made paper.
HOT FOIL
Foil printing consists in transferring a metallic or matte foil onto the paper's surface by pressing it with a hot metal plate. The effect is kind of similar to letterpress, but with the magical sparkle of a metallic foil.
BLIND LETTERPRESS
Blind letterpress is done using a letterpress plate without ink, leaving an inkless, or blind, impression on the paper. The process is the same with standard letterpress, the only step missing being the inking of the press.
EMBOSSING
Letterpress printing consists of pressing a plate that contains the design into the paper surface with a press. It creates an outstanding tactile and visual feel. We use soft textured cardstock (cotton or bamboo) or the amazing hand made paper.
UV + SPOT UV
Foil printing consists in transferring a metallic or matte foil onto the paper's surface by pressing it with a hot metal plate. The effect is kind of similar to letterpress, but with the magical sparkle of a metallic foil.
OUR CHOICES OF PAPER
300 & 350 gsm
We use thick cardstock for digital printing because we want all our invitations to have a nice look and feel. We choose the color and the texture best suited to the design we want to print.
450- 700gsm
For letterpress we usually go for premium cotton papers because we want a fluffy structure of the material in order to get the best and deepest impression of the plate on the printing surface. We also love papers made from bamboo, due to their sustainable nature.
HANDMADE PAPER
Handmade paper has a very organic feel, soft surface, and frilly edges. There are no two pieces alike. We order this paper for each project, in order to achieve the perfect color and texture for each design.
INKS & COLORS
The colors displayed above are our selection for digital print.
For letterpress, the color is chosen from the Pantone catalog and is specially mixed for each product.
For foil printing, we selected 4 metallic colors and a matte white foil.

SMALL DETAILS THAT MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE
WAX SEALS
If you would like a wax seal or a different model than the one seen on the invitation page, we will happily come up with some recommendations according to your selected design.
VELLUM WRAPS
Made from vellum or special parchment paper, wraps bring extra elegance to a suite. They are finished with a silk ribbon, thin string, or a wax seal, ideally a combination of wax and ribbon/string.
ENVELOPE LINERS
A simple way to elevate the envelope is to add a liner. This can be functional (printed with the R.S.V.P) or simply decorative.

SKETCHES / MAPS
You can opt for a personalized sketch of your wedding venue, an illustration, or a map. These can be printed on one of the cards, on the envelope liner, or printed directly on the envelope.
RIBBON / TWINE
We can tie over the invitation card silk ribbon or fine twine. We will choose the color that coordinates best with the design and you can opt for a simple, double or triple bow.
ENVELOPE PRINTING
Envelopes are very versatile and can be printed with the guest adress, a message from the couple to their guests, the crest/monogram or other graphic elements.
